I am about to start my Masters in International Humanitarian Action at the Rijksuniversiteit van Groningen in the Netherlands.

I've always been a fan of traveling, but when I went to Argentina for 2 months last year I discovered that doing some sort of volunteer work or other long-term service in one place really let's you emerge yourself within a culture. Not only did I discover much more about Argentina and South American culture, it was also a very enjoyable time which I got to share with the other volunteers and members of the Voluntario Global community. Overall it was a rewarding experience that makes me hope I can return to Argentina in the near future, whether it's for more volunteering or further exploration of this fascinating country.
