Lexi worked in the Health Clinic in Jose Leon Suarez.

I am a premed student at Duke University studying Neuroscience and Global Health. I chose to partner with Voluntario Global for various reasons. I am interested in how health care systems function around the world, and my family is Argentinian, so this experience was rewarding both professionally and personally as I got to know more about my family's culture, along with all of the other knowledge that I gained. Being able to shape my own experience and really focus in on what I was interested in doing, while also ensuring that I was doing something that benefited the clinic and the community of Jose Leon Suarez, was incredibly rewarding.
