From volunteering in a kindergarten in Buenos Aires to starting his university degree, Voluntario Global Ambassador Jack Sice reflects on how his time at Voluntario Global has affected him since returning home.

How was your experience of coming home after your time at Voluntario Global?

I felt extremely fortunate that I had the opportunity and was glad that in my short time I feel like I made a difference on a small scale.

How do you think your experience at Voluntario Global has been useful in your work or studies since leaving Buenos Aires?

I think that my experience at Voluntario Global will serve me well in the future. The most daunting aspect of the project was the idea of 'going into the unknown' and that is something that happens to all of us at various stages of our life, be it starting at university, leaving home or finding a new job.

Who would you recommend your project to?

Anybody with an interest in an exciting cultural experience that also gives something back!
