What projects did you get to know while volunteering with #voluntarioglobal? Which ones would you recommend and why?
I recommend the #radio where, because of the language, you can express yourself openly. The Radio is a place where not only learn much from Argentina's history, but also give you the opportunity to put you in the look of Argentine society and be part of it. The Center of #health or the #soupkitchen are also highly recommended since you see with your own eyes why this country needs #volunteers and you start to understand everything otherwise.
What experiences lived here can you replicate in your country?
The image that many Europeans have of #buenosaires, especially those who never came, is really wrong and negative. Buenos Aires is a city full of opportunities, with its positive parts and of course negative, but sometimes we Europeans look the other way and we do not see that we share many of the problems, perhaps in a smaller proportion, but we decided not to look at them in front and fight For them.
How would you define Voluntario Global?
Voluntario Global is an organization that not only lets you see Argentina's reality but also lets you participate in it. A Flexible organization where volunteering can say or propose and where in addition to being an approach to Argentina's culture, gives you the opportunity to meet people around the world so that it causes a great exchange of cultures and obviously, is something really Positive for the human being.
How do you define Buenos Aires?
Buenos Aires is a city where everything is possible but with that ancient touch of South America that gives it a particular beauty and the difference from any country in Europe. Buenos Aires is culture, gastronomy, a city where the cultural and most important offers are not missing, where you have the opportunity not to spend anything on them or at a fairly affordable price. I believe that that is very important, offering free culture to the citizen so that he has the opportunity to form as such.
Thank you, Coral, we'll miss you!
