Neighborhoods are full of popular artists who, self-taught or with some possibility of learning in the community, enjoy and make enjoy with their voices, their music, their murals, their expressiveness.

Popular artists are motivated by their creativity and their desire to express themselves. They choose art to communicate. They see art as a community practice.

Their art is not at the service of deceptive advertising. It is not at the service of beauty or aesthetics that determines the market. Their work are not part of the art market, they are not part of an auction that puts a price on their messages. Their work is the expression of their experiences, their learnings, their history.

This art is the memory of communities exposing their desires, their struggles, their traditions, justice and injustice.

ARTE COLECTIVO is a proposal that adds to the youth of various neighborhoods of the Municipality of Tigre that are put at the service of a community and reflective art coordinated by the Territorial Organization Pacheco Community.

The aims of this group are to enjoy time together and generate critical reflections through art to share with the community.
