On 24th March 1976, the armed forces took on power in Argentina, supported by large economic groups and a few sectors of civil society.

They installed a politics of terror through abductions, torture and the disappearance of 30 000 people. More than 750 clandestine detention centers were set up throughout the country.

The economic politics installed provoked an outstanding rise of poverty and unemployment.

Families of the abducted civilians and organisms of human rights reported State Terrorism. But the resistance of the population propelled the comeback of Democracy in 1983.

Today marks 42 years since the coup d'état and we get together in all parks and public spaces to continue to call for Justice, Truth and Memory.

Voluntario Global and our volunteers join the call for Justice!
