Volunteer's House Pacheco

A Different Space in Buenos Aires

The idea of the Pacheco Community Center was born in 2014 as a synthesis and continuity of a practical and theoretical experience built by the Global Volunteer Organization for over 10 years. It stemmed from the desire to create a path to sustainable social practices in a community space that allows us resume the relationship with the land and natural space.
Sustainable practices create awareness and understanding of the social, economic and environmental problems and this space allows us to test alternative ways of consumption, the cultural exchange in human relationships and find solutions to decrease the depletion of natural resources.
The Pacheco Community Center is a multi-functional space that promotes community development in groups so that the individual can strive towards greater selfconfidence, critical awareness and social responsibility.

Housing and Food

The Volunteer House has accommodation for a maximum of six volunteers in spacious, and bright rooms overlooking the garden where you can enjoy the sounds and smells of nature.

These are shared rooms with private bathrooms and showers for each room and exclusively for the use of volunteers. Both breakfast and lunch are provided Monday through Friday.
In addition to this, there is a completely equipped kitchen, which is a shared space for the volunteers and community members to enjoy.
The Pacheco Community Center also offers WIFI, a TV, and a living room where volunteers can unwind and rest during their off-time.
