Hello! My name is Anya and I am an Applied Anthropology graduate student at the University of North Texas (online). I live in San Diego, California and I speak both English and Spanish. My career and educational focus are on how humans connect with nature and the social matters that hinder such a connection. I have a particular interest in Latin America because of my ethnic background. In my spare time, I tutor students from around the globe that are learning conversational English. I also grow my own food, spend time with family outdoors, and photograph my experiences. It is nice to meet you!
