CHAPTER 3: THE REFLECTIONS OF DIANA

"QUARANTINED THOUGHTS"

In moments like these (looking at the last tomatoes in my garden) I understand how important and enriching it is to have my own garden and how different everything would be if we learned from the other... from the planet.

We need to invest in health, in science and research; but also, and no less important, we must invest in raising awareness, supporting and containing the popular economy. The big supermarket chains increase their prices indiscriminately, taking advantage of the opportunity by showing (again!) their lack of empathy and solidarity.

The small producers... small enterprises are the ones who help us. What is really important? To keep filling the pockets of the unscrupulous or to support those who sustain the popular economy?

Awareness, cooperation and solidarity. For me it is necessary and urgent.
